Mergui Safari 5 was built in 1993 using the finest Asian hardwoods. She started life taking scuba divers to the Mergui Archipelago to dive Myanmar’s best dive sites. In those days she was considered the best boat in the area and won quality awards with International Diving Associations.
She has been maintained with loving care. In 2006 she was redesigned and then in 2010 she was refitted again in Phuket, Thailand. The cruise now conforms to modern standards of comfort and safety while still maintaining her original charm. She will escort you where you want to go in graceful style.

At 21 metres long and 5.5 metres wide there is plenty of room to relax on board.
Upper deck: The shaded upper deck saloon area is the social hub of the boat where meals are served and drinks are drunk. There is a sound system for music if you wish. Also on the upper deck is a large (20sqm) sun deck for sun worshippers. There are also several beanbags on the sundeck.

Main deck: The dive deck is well equipped for scuba divers. Tanks are 12 litre aluminium with an international yoke fitting. 15 litre tanks are available. DIN adapters are available. There is plenty of room for storage and a dedicated area for underwater photographers.
The main deck also has a saloon area that can easily sit 10 guests and is perfect if the weather turns. There is a home theatre system here.
