Published Prices for MV. Sea Gipsy FIT and Charter

• A minimum of two guests is required to confirm the trip.
• As one gazebo will be split via a curtain into “two single gazebos,” we can share with mixed genders. The gazebo will look like two separate single beds.

Children Policy:

• Minimum age for children on board is 7 years old.
• Maximum one child between 7 – 11.99 years old who shares a Gazebo with both parents 750 US$

Above Prices Include:

• Land transfer from the Airport / hotel in Kawthaung /Myanmar or Airport/hotel in Ranong/Thailand to the pier in Kawthaung on your arrival and departure day.
• Accommodation onboard (Twin sharing) based on a double bed open-air gazebo.
• English speaking Tour Leader, (Other language speaking guides available against surcharge).
• On board meals (3 meals per day with a minimum of 3 – 4 dishes per meal).
• Water, Tea and Coffee onboard MV Sea Gipsy.
• Free use of Sea Kayaks (sit-on-top), S.U.P. (stand-up paddle boards), and Snorkeling equipment.
• Life Jackets.
• Travel Permit

Above Prices Do Not Include:

• International or Domestic Flights
• Mergui Archipelago Royalty Fees (around USD 100)
• Myanmar Visa (USD 50) (please see note below)
• Soft drinks and Alcoholic beverages (please note that we will charge a corkage fee for brought drinks (USD 1 per beer can and USD 10 per bottle of wine or any alcoholic spirit)
• Trip cancellation, medical or any other personal travel insurance.
• Expenditures of a personal nature, such as souvenirs, tips for crew, etc.
• Any services not mentioned above.

Cruise Times: Embarkation 10:00 Hours (10 AM), Disembarkation 12:00 Hours (12 PM)
We recommend our guests to arrive in Kawthaung one day before embarkation day.
Please make sure you are in time in Kawthaung so you do not miss the departure of our boat for you cruise.

Arrival via Airport Kawthaung: As domestic airlines from Yangon are most of the time arriving with delay we strongly recommend to arrive one day before the departure, we will organize the transfer on the departure day from your hotel. Many of our guests liked to stay at the Victoria Cliff Resort which is the best hotel in Kawthaung. If you look for something simpler there are the Garden Hotel or Penguin Hotel. All detail these hotels can be checked on www.agoda.com. You also have to opportunity to book directly online.
Arrival via Airport in Ranong: Thai domestic airlines are much more reliable, so the morning flights from Bangkok to Ranong will come by time. Please calculate 1,5 hrs – 2 hours for the transfer to and from the Airport in Ranong meaning your flight should arrive before 09.00 (9am) Thai time.

Arrival time 12:00 Hours ( 12 PM) at the pier in Kawthaung
We will arrive back to the pier at 12.00 noon, please organize your connection flights accordingly.

Departure to the airport in Kawthaung: Please plan one hour to get from the pier to the Airport Kawthaung, meaning your plan should not leave before 14.00 (2pm) as you have to be one hour before departure at the airport.
Departure to the airport in Ranong: Please make sure that you connection flights are not to early that day. Myanmar is a half hour before Thailand, so if you plan to leave via Ranong please consider the different time zone. Please calculate 1,5 hrs – 2 hours for the transfer to and from the Airport in Ranong meaning your flight should not departure before 15.00 (3pm) (Thai Time) as you have to be also one hour before departure at the airport.

Important Notice for MV Sea Gipsy:

• Minimum 2 guests is required to confirm the trip.
• Maximum 10 guests as total passengers can be accepted on each cruise
• The boat MV Sea Gipsy has no private cabins on board. It was built as five open-air gazebos that are transformed into double beds with curtains. There are two gazebos on the upper deck and three gazebos on the main deck below, and all booking requests are always handled on a first-come, first-served basis. MV Sea Gipsy provides space and a storage area on the lower deck.
• There is no Wi-Fi, Internet or Phone connection available during the cruise.
• The boat is basic but very nice and comfortable. There is no air con on board, but we have small fans in each Gazebo and a nice sea breeze. There are 2 bathrooms (showers only) with toilets on the main deck, so all the guests must share these facilities.
